Osteopaths are key workers and Blandford Osteopathy will remain OPEN during the lockdown period. We are committed to serving you. A rigorous hygiene policy is being followed to help ensure we keep our clinic safe.
Blandford Osteopathy is now re-opened for face to face (hands on) osteopathic treatment. This has been done in accordance with the advice of NHS England and the Institute of Osteopathy and following a full practice health and safety risk assessment.
Heightened infection control measures have been put into place to help ensure the safety of patients and staff during Covid 19.
Adaptations have been made to the practice during the lockdown, infection prevention and control training via the NHS and Institute of Osteopathy has been undertaken. Strict screening, cleaning and PPE guidlines are in place.
Before booking an appointment a telephone consultation will be conducted in order to establish patient suitability and need for face to face treatment. The criteria for treatment will include screening for any symptoms of Covid 19 from the patient or their household members as well as the risk of potential contact with anyone suspected of having the virus over the last 14 days.
Currently patients who are in a high risk category or who share a home with a shielding high risk member will not be be able to receive face to face treatment at this time.
